Okay, I'm about 10 minutes away from going to watch something called "8.5 Hours" (which sounds like an Irish dramatic version of the Office) with my folks. However, I've had such an eventful week, I can't help but at least post a summary blog of what I've been up to.
•Went to Toronto to visit my friend Lyz and go to the Jays - Yankees game
•walked about 8 km across Toronto, with my trusty camera in tow
•went to West Lorne to visit Harley Lashbrooke and pick up a copy of "West Elgin At War" which includes three photos of my grandfather
•visited the historical plaque, dedicated to Ellis Sifton, who won the Victoria Cross at Vimy Ridge and saw the tomb of Colonel Thomas Talbot
•went and visited my friend Nina at work
•went to Tillsonburg, by way of Beachville and Woodstock, with my friend Jason
•went to see "The Expendables"
Naturally there's more to tell about all of the above, but you can check out the photos from my trip to Toronto on Facebook, and I'll be writing up a review of the Expendables within the next day or so for posting here.
