Top 10 Best Things About My Trip To Baltimore

If you've been playing along at home, then you know that on April 1st, I flew down to Baltimore, by way of Chicago, to visit my friend Kelly Hager, to help her celebrate her 30th Birthday Week-And-A-Half.

Meeting Kelly after nearly a decade and a half of knowing her and corresponding on-line and hanging out with her and many of her friends was great. So great in fact, I want to list "The Top 10 Best Things About My Trip to Baltimore" (the fact that I used that for the title of this entry probably should have been your first clue).

And so, here we go (in no particular order):

1. Having Kelly's Mom Get Me (At Least Temporarily) Hooked on Survivor
2. Seeing Kelly's name in the Credits of Paranormal Activity
3. Playing Things, Scene It and Trivial Pursuit: Pop Culture Edition
4. Going to See Hot Tub Time Machine
5. Bumping Into Two Guys from GDLS-C in the Baltimore Airport (and I think I saw a disguised Woody Allen)
6. Watching Just the 10 of Us episodes
7. Going for breakfast (twice) at Miss Shirley's
8. Seeing the Inner Harbour
9. Kelly introducing me to the gloriousness that is Chipotle
10. Eating and enjoying Sushi

Okay, I can't stop at 10, so let's continue...

11. Watching Up in the Air (and This Is It and Heathers)
12. Enjoying Jennifer's Body (Yes, Kelly, it's in writing, I enjoyed a pseudo-horror movie -although I agree it was more of a comedy)
13. Searching through Kelly's books (and wishing I could take twice as many home as I did)
14. Reading How To Steal A Car
15. Getting to Tour WJZ
16. Getting to See where Kelly sits when she e-mails me
17. Pretending to be a weatherman during the WJZ Tour
18. Going up on the roof of the station
19. That really good licorice I ended up eating most of (sorry, Kel!)
20. And last (for now) but certainly not least, hanging out with Kelly and her friends and...of course...SAM!!!
