Wow! Another baseball reference, and Opening Day is still a month away. (The Jays are 1-1 in Grapefruit League action, for those keeping score at home...which I know all none of you probably are.)
No, instead, tonight I will be presenting the four "revealing truths", one for each of the votes I've gotten in this week's poll...
Okay, riddle me this Batman, when the hell did this stop being my on-line (Texas Book) depository for random wrestling ramblings and become John's Spill His Guts Central?
F&ck! The things I'll do just to find out who's reading my blog to see if there's any point to not just sitting down once a week, writing out an e-mail and sending it to the three people I assumed read this.
(Of course, now I realize I might have missjudged that number by half and so, for the foreseeable future, my blog is here to stay.)
Anyways, here are my four "revelations" for today. (The "voters" can choose which revelation is directed towards them, depending on which vote is yours, although I really just kinda came up with these randomly, not directed towards any person.)
(1) I think Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears are both kinda hot. Probably dumb as fence posts, and vapid wastes of space on the celebrity scene, but I wouldn't throw either of them outta my bed for eating crackers.
(But then why else would they be there? Ba-dum-bump!)
(2) I always wonder if I could get away with telling people from high school and/or college who I haven't seen since the late 80s (which aren't a lot now, thank you Facebook!!!!) that I served in Desert Storm.
(3) This is going to sound weird but I wish I was more ethnic. Seriously, I'd love to be an Irish Catholic or Jewish. Being a straight, white, Anglo-Saxon Protestant male has a certain lameness to it.
and finally...
(4) I accidentally smelled some marijuana smoke when I was in Vietnam...
Oh wait, that wasn't me, that was Principal Skinner from the Simpsons!
Don't forget, I am still on the lookout for Questions from you, the readers, to make up future installments of my "John Reveals All" blog posts.
