Man! Yeah, this blog-a-day idea isn't so hot on days when not much is going on.
I will say that it's one of those days where I come home and decide to get some shh...stuff done. Not that I did a whole lot, save for writing to Kelly, the two Jays, working on the Shelf Life website update, reviewing Robert E. Lee by Noah Andre Trudeau, playing a little Making History 2.0: The Calm and The Storm (World War II strategy game) and am going to write an e-mail to Liz.
Yeah, other than that, a whole lotta nothing going on. Work was pretty steady today as I started to work on this week's issue of Lines of Defense. I had my Yearly Performance Review with my Area Manager, Shannon which went really well. Basically, she said I was doing a good job and I said "Yeah, but I want to improve and do better." I appreciated what she said and she appreciated what I said.
Okay gang, with three days to go (it might be two now depending on what time you're reading this) I have 4 (FOUR) votes in my poll. Call your friends and neighbours and let's see if we can get at least one more vote and make this the great John Milner Blog Poll EVER! (And no, I don't want any one voting twice just to make me feel better!)
By the way, I notice that the voting is for me to NOT grow my beard (or rather, a goatee right now) because it's never been a good look for me. However, the people at work are commenting on how good I look with the facial hair...
SO SCREW YOU ALL! THE CANADIAN DEFENCE INDUSTRY HAS SPOKEN!
And hey, I give Jason Kurn props for actually leaving me a comment somewhere around here. So that's 1 of the four people spoken for. Who are the rest of you stalkers?
