Poll Results

Over the past week, “The Life and Times of John M. Milner” poll had a record four (4) responses. Too bad that was split between two separate polls. For those who are waiting with baited breath for the results, here goes:

- The Yankees - 1
- The Phillies – 0
- The Cardinals – 0
- The Blue Jays – 0
- None of the Above – 0
- I don't watch baseball – 0

Out of deference to my friend (and basically the only person I converse with about baseball) Lyz De Marco, the sentimental favourite (of those teams that made the playoffs) for this blog were the Red Sox, but with Boston the surprise losers to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the Yankees are now the official pick of “The Life and Times of John M. Milner”. (Because I like the Yankees....Sadly, the poll results have nothing to do with that.)

This past weekend was Thanksgiving here in Canada and so I offered up a poll about what people’s plans were. Here are those results.

- spend time with my family, giving thanks for all my blessings -1
- Watching sports (playoff baseball, hockey, football) - 0
- Two words: Office Marathon! - 0
- I have to work - 0
- Thanksgiving is in November! – 2

To be honest, my pick would have been some combination of the first and third choices. I did watch a bit of the Office, but I ended up having a mini-marathon of Chuck Season 1, having picked that up on the super-cheap from Blockbuster a couple of weeks ago.

And so, with it being Monday comes another poll, this one inspired by something my friend Kelly was talking about on her Facebook page. Hopefully this is the week we get a whole 5 responses. (Dare to dream...I know!)
